Driver Profile: Greg Macleod
Greg drives a Maxtraction Tomcat 100 hired from Maxtraction. He also owns a Bowler Nemesis to compete internationally. The Tomcat has a 4 litre V8 engine producing 265 horsepower. It has a fully programmable tiptronic gearbox, Maxtraction diffs and uniquely valved Milner varidamp shock absorbers.

He has competed in and finished the London Dakar in 2005, the 2007 Shamrock in the Western Sahara (12th, the 2008 Italian Baja, 2008 Transiberico (20th) and 2008 Spanish Baja. His aim for the 2010 BCCC is to improve his driving and enjoy taking part as much as possible. Greg is sponsored by P3 Aviation Ltd and his ambition is to compete in the Dakar (he entered in 2008 when it was cancelled!)
He lives in Great Dunmow with wife Trish, daughter Charlotte and three badly behaved dogs. He co-founded an aircraft component business and is able to offer a discount should any B.C.C.C. marshals have any Boeing and Airbus requirements!
